Oysters with Guinness Cream
I love the double creaminess of the oyster and Guinness cream. The cold oysters with the hot creamy Guinness cream were the perfect match. The touch of lemon juice gave a tangy shot when you sip it together with the Guinness cream.

Before I end, I would like to share with you one of MasterChef Adam Liaw’s recipes. It is a very simple recipe and you can just perform it at home and share it with your family.

Oysters with Guinness cream

GUINNESS® Cream

100ml GUINNESS®
1 pinch of salt
1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce

6 oysters
lemon wedges and finely chopped chives, to serve

Method

  1. Over a warm double boiler whisk the egg yolks, salt and Worchestershire sauce until creamy and then add the GUINNESS® slowly. Continue to whisk until thick and creamy.
  2. Arrange the oysters on a plate and scatter a small amoount of chopped chives and squeeze of lemon into each oyster. Serve with the warm GUINNESS® cream. To eat, top a cold oyster with a little of warm cream and eat immediately.
