Last Sunday, rest day.
This is of what I will usually do, and it has been a while; showering with caffeine and sweet stuff and chit chat/ gossip over the table.
VCR café, painted in mysterious black is a café that is taking up a corner lot at Jalan Galloway off Jalan Pudu. This café is tucked behind the apartment and old shophouses. It looks hidden but it is quite easy to get over there. Love the huge glass windows that allow the natural sunlight into this semi industrialized decorated premise. It gives an extra flavour to the rattan armchairs, the tables, the wooden floors and the black solid wall.
As I was greeted with a strong scent of coffee once I entered the cafe, so I was expecting a stronger and intense flavour in my drink. Can’t say it was the best Flat White (Rm 10) but it was milky. The King (Rm 12); a layer of chocolate spread with banana slices sandwiched in between banana sponge base and coated with a layer of rich peanut butter cream. This combination was just too good; all ingredients were at a well balance, the sponge was fluffy and soft too. Okay… better not count how much calorie I have consumed.

Deserve a drive down here??? Yes, of course. Since the traffic is always smooth on Sunday, you can definitely come and lazy around here with a fresh cup of coffee. Don’t forget their cakes too.
