Wichday Café @ Taman Connaught, Cheras

Like what I have mentioned earlier, I will try searching for something closer or mimic to this one in Bangkok. Failed getting something like this but I managed to find out one that is quite similar to the honey toast from Taiwan.

A cute café that popped up not too long ago, cutely decorated with wooden horse; on the wall itself was the cute illustration and Ferris Wheel hand-painted by one of the sisters. Once enter, you will feel as though you were in the fantasy land. Since this café is located in Taman Connaught, just a short distance from a primary school, secondary school as well as a university, it has immediately become a chilled out place for the youngsters over there. At one moment, I suddenly feel sooooooo old.

Richly, creamy and sinful chocolate drink.

Black pepper Fried Chicken Chop Spaghetti (Rm 15.9)
Came with big chunks of fried chicken and served with chopped salad.

Signature Carbonara Spaghetti (Rm 12.9)
Spaghetti tossed in cream sauce, loaded with chicken, ham and topped with ebikko. What a fusion dish. It was quite tasty and light; love the crunchy bits of ebikko that brings a whole new experience to the pasta.

Dancing Earth Day (Rm 9.9)
Fancy some soil??? This edible soil dessert is quite hot lately; filled with lots of soil-liked elements and ice cream, and some crackling pops that we used to have in those old days. Try it out and you will understand what I meant by those old days.

Pandora Box (Rm 15.9)
A mystery dessert box. Looks quite similar to the honey toast in Taiwan and served with lots of colourful ingredients. With toasted bread cubes, ice cream, corn flakes hidden in the bread box and decorated with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate chips, marshmallow, mochi, strawberries, and banana and finally dressed with chocolate sauce and maple syrup (served at the side). Such a lovely box. Wish the toasted bread cubes could be crispier and soak up with more fragrant melted butter. Then it will become quite similar with the one in Taiwan (according to my friends who have tried the Taiwanese version). Bear in mind, Pandora Box is available from 3 to 5pm and you must preorder this before you make your visit to avoid disappointment.
