Located inside Ekocheras Mall and just next to CBTL, The Champignons Cake Shop is led by the young and talented pastry chef Kingsley Kwoh who is specializing in modern French pastries, serving delectable cakes that are not only pretty but also delicious and detail-y done. Chef Kingsley went under the tutelage of French Pastry Chef Sebastien Bernis, at the renowned cake shop in the luxury 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel Macau. All of his creations here in The Champignons Cake Shop are artistically crafted, consist of at least 4 layers or elements, very comprehensive and made with all efforts.

Gelato 2.0 (Rm 20)
Chocolate truffle mousse, kalamansi curd, milk chocolate kalamasi ganache, brownies and chocolate coating.
Made into a cone-liked shape and resembling the summer’s must have cooling agent, gelato. Layered with multilayers of different texture and chocolate. This is my favourite as I am a super fan of chocolate!
Flamingo 2.0 (Rm 21)
Red berries whipped ganache, apple and lime compote, vanilla sponge and biscuit
Beautifully shaped into the pinkish flamingo! The layering was delicious with a hint of sourish sweet.
Aloha (Rm 19)
Yogurt mousse, pineapple jam, mandarin orange with pear confit and orange cake
Tropical Bar (Rm 19)
Exotic mousse with banana confit, lime whipped ganache and banana cake
Coconut 2.0 (Rm 20)
Coconut whipped ganache, pineapple and mango compote, coconut sponge, coconut Gianduja and chocolate coating
I am never a coconut fan but this … wowed me! It was a refreshing dessert with the component of pineapple, mango and coconut, as though u were enjoying this summer by the beach.
Elderflower (Rm 20)
Elderflower mousse, guava compote, strawberry and pink guava jelly with vanilla genoise and biscuit. Elderflower is something not to be missed, also the Chef’s signature. Presented elegantly with a small touch of gold leaf, sealed with a distinctive flavours of guava and pink guava; that velvety soft mousse that was hinted with elderflower scent, giving a medley of soothing flavours in the oral cavity. Huge elderflower whole cake is available too.
Not forgetting a cup of coffee or tea to go with these heavenly desserts for a perfect afternoon tea.
