The bone china tea set they used was something that had my attention at the first glance. Painted with blue floral, it was classy and elegant, perfecto tea set for the afternoon tea.
With the partner in crime, we were longing for a quiet place to relax and enjoy some delectable desserts at the same time.
Here we were, settled ourselves in the Pavilions Lounge for a mimic of tai-tai life (to her) afternoon tea. Since it was a weekday, we were the only customer in the afternoon. Yipppeee, we had the whole place for just the 2 of us. We could sit wherever we want, do whatever we want, and we could even have the whole array of delights by ourselves *smiling*
The Afternoon Tea offers a selection of “all-you-can-eat” cakes, scones and other petit fours accompanied by TWG tea and any other selections of coffee for RM38++ per person.
**Served from 2.00pm to 6.00pm: Mondays to Fridays
*With the Starwood Privilege, you’re entitled for 50% for 2!
The Pavilion Lounge offers TWG Tea blends include Grand Wedding, Alexandria, Creme Caramel, French Earl Grey, Jasmine Queen, English Breakfast, Chamomile. Had the Grand Wedding (with fruity scent) and Alexandria, prefer the first one as the later one was too minty to my liking.
Attractive looking cupcakes, raspberry tartlets, macarons, donut, cakes, fruits, scones and many more.
Do enjoy them with your eyes now…
Mocha and Flat White from the menu (which is also included in the afternoon tea buffet).
Although they may not be the greatest desserts in town; for the price of the tea set (thanks to Starwood), for the environment, for the premium beverages they serve, I wouldn’t complain much. I would be extra happy if there were a small selection of savouries around
Do come here with a book. You could lazy around till 6pm =]
