Oh afternoon tea, it has been a while I meet (eat) you!
Happy to have a tai-tai gathering to with Yen and Christine who are both the real tai-tai (also pretty mama), we headed off to try out the afternoon tea in The Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, savoured an array of sweets and savouries that is set in traditional way with a selection of fine teas.

There are a few options for tea where you get to choose from Black, Green, White or Herbal tea. We went off with The Lounge Tropical Signature Blend which was the black and green teas infused with tropical flavours in a combination of hibiscus, guava, coconut, strawberry, marigolds and corn flowers; a very delicious tea, aromatic on the nose and palate. My Mutan White was a rare white tea that was light and sweet, came from Fuan in Northern Fujian Province in China; and the Orange Passion Fruit Tea from the Herbal section was pretty great, in a blend of rosehips, hibiscus, dried oranges, and other fruit pieces with orange and tropical passion fruit flavour. Definitely for those who love some citrus base tea.
It was the jolly season last month (December) and they were serving The Nut Cracker Festive Afternoon Tea with a touch of christmasy theme.
