1. North Point Egg Waffle 北角雞蛋仔
Hehe, one of my favourite snack in Hong Kong, the egg waffle or gai dan zai. I once had it in North Point and it was a super memorable one. Seriously missed it so much after the first trip. Glad to find out that there is one of their shops in Dundas Street, I don’t have to spare time and travel to North Point for it.

Photos of celebrities who have visited their place and tried out their gai dan zai.

Oh so crispy gan dan zai (HKD 15), the inside and outside. Each little ball was sizable and very aromatic!

Curry Fish Balls 咖哩鱼旦 ; that appears almost in every TVB drama. Kinda disappointing as it was lack of bounciness and fish meat as compared to ours one here.

2. 肥姐小食店 Fei Jie Snacks Shop
Just a few doors away from North Point Egg Waffle, Fei Jie Snacks Shop is famous for their braised stuff. We had their pig’s intestines 大生腸 and squids大墨魚 (HKD 10 each) which are highly recommended by bloggers and openrice. Bear in mind that photos are not allowed over here/ in front of the stall.

Squids 大墨魚 and pig’s intestines 大生腸 remained crunchy after long hours braising with the secret recipe! Love the idea of mustard and sweet sauce that gave extra ohmppp to it.

3. Putt Chai Kou 砵仔糕 (Steamed Pudding)
While we were walking over to Tim Hou Wan for dinner (yes, you hear me, Dim Sum for DINNER!!! Will write about it soon and you may know why), I spotted this and straight away forked out money for it.

Well, this Putt Chai Kou was not small. Love its QQ texture with little sweet hints from the red beans.

4. Yu Gap 乳鸽 from 利興燒臘家

Passed by this shop on our way back and saw those glossy brownish roasted pork and roasted duck hanging up there.

We were too full for the others, so we ta-pao-ed 2 birds of pigeon back for supper!
