My September was full of fun celebration (okay, I know, another backlog post), with few birthday celebrations for friends and also a meet up with my ex-colleagues. After the meet up in Thirty8, we then gathered up in Mandarin Grill this round.
Completed with posh dazzling chandeliers, fair white table setting, cosy fireplace to create an elegant comfortable setting and overlooking the tranquil greenery of KLCC Park; this is such a great dining place.
That afternoon, we were up for their Business lunch
Comes with 2-courses (Rm 78++) and 3-courses (Rm 98++) meal with few choices given.
Butter to go with the freshly baked warm bread
Butternut Pumpkin Veloute
Velvety cream pumpkin soup with roasted porcini mushroom hidden in and finally touched with pumpkin seed oil.
Salmon Confit Rillette
Caviar/ cucumber- avocado tattar/ red capsicum emulsion
Came with marinated feta cheese and roasted pine nuts on a bed of beetroot, served along the side were the greens.
Stewed Beef with Bell Pepper
The beef slices were so juicy and tender after being stewed for hours. Love the cute chive potatoes on the side.
Herb Crusted Cod Fish
Served with Zucchini and drizzled with saffron jus.
On desserts, I didn’t really fancy their White Chocolate Bavarois but I loved the soft praline ice cream drizzled with sweet sourish orange marmalade.
I also love the neighbour’s Passion fruit sorbet that came along with Seasonal Sliced Fruits!
Good food, good company.
