Vintry, the humble little wine place that is located in Medan Damansara neighbourhood, is a place my friend and I will frequent for wine. This 2-floor premise is pretty cosy, quiet and lined with library-style of wine shelves. They offer not just wine but delicious dishes too, and most of the dishes in the menu are pork-related. Here I grouped up two of our visits and put them up in this post.
Here are the few bottles of wine I have tried with my friends.
My recent favourite goes to Riesling and I pretty like this variety of grape, citrusy and fruity.
Vintry Roast Pork (Rm 12 for 100g)
The must have signature dish of Vintry, crispy roasted pork belly!
Honey Fried Cheese (Rm 26)
Cheese cubes breaded and deep fried, drizzled with honey before serving.
Popcorn Chicken (Rm 24)
Lovely drink snack that is served with honey mayonnaise.
Grilled Pork Neck (Rm 21)
Served with Thai chili sauce. We found this needs a lil’ bit more of spicy kick.
French Fries (Rm 17)
Angel Hair Pasta (Rm 27)
Another favourite of mine, came in sweet and spicy punch due to the caramelised roast pork and chili flakes. This was really good!
Roast Pork Mee Goreng (Rm 25)
Chef’s fried mamak noodles with vintry roast pork and prawns.
Lychee Cheesecake (Rm 18)
Had this refreshing lychees in rich creamy cheese cheesecake as sweet ending.
