Hot Shots Coffee & Tea @ Solaris Dutamas, KL
When the in-need-caffeine-craving just hit on me, I would do anything for it. Here I was, sipping my cup of coffee and nibble on a bite-ons…
***
A very homely interior it has; there is this sofa area, a long kitchen bar in the center, and you could also choose your favourite seats facing the window.
Hot Shots is a place where you can get the coffee machines, grinders, roasters, equipments and also freshly roasted coffee beans. Of course, at the same time, one could get to enjoy their in house espresso and other milk based espresso.
When you are in here, you should just “Keep Calm & Drink Coffee”.
Love the atmosphere, especially the aromatic scent that filled up the place. Mmmm…
Flat White (Rm 7)
Brewed with their house blend, which came with a little bitter-y note as an ending; truly a comforting one; milky and smooth.
Fluffy Raisin Scone (Rm 5.50)
***
and one morning, I revisited for more….
Cappuccino (Rm 7)
This cuppa was done with temperature slightly higher than the oral temperature (on my visit). Good to me when the temperature died down but not once when serving. Love the bitter-y hint aftertaste that lingered around in oral cavity.
‘Seriously Rich’ Hot Chocolate (Rm 9)
If coffee is not your thing, go for their hot chocolate. Served with boudoir, fresh strawberries and marshmallows; it was very rich and chocolaty, you will go happy after this hot drink, I assure you.
Caramel Affogato (Rm 12)
Salted caramel ice cream by Forty Licks, and then drenched with the house’s double shots of espresso. Both of them married so well; sweet and savoury from with ice cream and bitter taste from the espresso, not to mention, the hot and cold too!
The friendly Pooi Ling told me that she is going to bring in another flavour of ice cream for their affogato. Just can’t wait to try it out!
One last photo, their hot chocolate is seriouslyyyy sooooo good!
