A Refreshingly Different Moment @ Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar, BV1

Beer pairing is not something new, I have done beer pairing with Chinese food. Yep, it was a great one. Besides that, I always have beer with the porky-licious meals and grilled stuff. This round, beer pairing with Italian cocktail food?! Interesting!



The limited edition Tiger Crystal is back for this year-end-festive season! This time, Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar is chosen as one of the collaborate partners; demonstrating the authentic Italian cocktail food paired with the refreshing and soothing Tiger Crystal. We were given the opportunity to try out and experience how Tiger Crystal blends with Italian cocktails.


Sea Bream Carpaccio with Tomato Tartare and Tiger Crystal Reduction (RM 5 each)
It was strongly infused with the refreshing Tiger Crystal.


Coffin Bay Oyster with Poached Quail Egg and Smoked Caviar (RM 10)
Creamy fresh oyster with creamy perfectly poached quail egg and topped with luxury caviar. Oh-my-oh-my! That was double creamy!


Yellow Tail King Fish seasoned with Tiger Crystal (RM 6 each)
With sweet melon and onions mix. This too, was strongly infused with the refreshing and smooth lager.


Smoked Lamb Loin in Parsley Crust on Braised Capsicum (RM 8 each)
Lamb loin blushed in pink and encased within the parsley crust.


Italian Veal Cheek braised with Tiger Crystal on sweet potato puree (RM 6 each)
Again, I had to give this a pass as I don’t take beef. The others said the braised veal cheek was very tender and melt-in-mouth type; compatible prefectly with the lovely touch of sweet potato puree.


Spaghetti with asparagus fresh tomato and broad bean topped with “Robiola Ai Tre Latti” (RM 15 per portion)

The spaghetti was enriched with the flavour from Robiola Ai Tre Latti, which was the sticky, gooey-liked layer of cheesy paste that made with cow, sheep and goat milk.


Layer of coffee flavoured pannacota and white truffle flavoured pannacota (RM 7 each) & warm Tiger Crystal sabayon with apple and pecan nut crambles (Rm 12 each)

Love the Sabayon which was very light and airy. Additional of pecan nuts gave a nutty flavour to it!



Chef also prepared some pizza for us to munch
