Located on Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, just a distance away from Chinatown, Moodmood is a casual dining place by the team from GOODDAM, focusing on pasta making or freshly made pasta dishes.

I was there in late February. After trying out Moodmood, I checked out GOODDAM in The Hub SS2 immediately and it wowed me too!

The premise is dimly lit with relaxing cum romantic ambience. It may not be too friendly for photo taking (on the dishes), but it serves best for dining session with your friends or loved ones.

Also, worry not with the parking and traffic, this place has a MRT station nearby, just across the road! You can head over by train!

Liver Mousse Brulee (RM 18)
Comes with 2 pieces on Bruschetta, it was creamy, yummy and savoury.

Tajarin Cacio E Pepe with mixed pepper and Pecorino (Rm 38)
Sharp, pepper, creamy and rich! I am surprised! With these minimal ingredients, it turned out to be super delicious dish. Plain yet comforting, the pasta is made al dente! I prefer the pasta here to the one I had earlier in Ampang . The pasta was layered with textures; it has the characteristic I fancy.

Tagliatelle with Duck Ragu, Pickled Onion and hazelnut (Rm 58)
But my favourite has to be this one, the long flat ribbon pasta suited well with the hearty sauce, every single strand of the Tagliatelle has adsorbed with rich sauce, evenly. I also like it coming along with the fluffy Scarpetta Bread, used the bread to mop up the sauce from the pasta dish! Delicious combination!

Grilled Aged Duck (Rm 88)
With Market greens and Sauce Poivrade
Aside from pasta, Moodmood offers sharing protein dishes too. And this Grilled Age Duck caught my attention while we were deciding where to go for our next meet up. The duck was grilled to perfect tenderness with pinkish hues, flavourful. The skin was crispy and the peppery Sauce Poivrade spiced up the meat too!

Ahhh, dosed with real gao gao shot of alcohol that made us all euphoria. Hahaha. It was a good tiramisu that we enjoyed a lot.
