Argentine Gastronomic Week by Chef Patron Diego Jacquet
In conjunction with the National Day of Argentine Republic and in celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Argentina and Malaysia, The Library at The Ritz Carlton KL will showcase the best of Argentine cuisine; specially curated by Argentine Chef Patron Diego Jacquet. Chef Patron Diego will illustrate through a 3-course menu, the exquisite flavours representative of this South American nation.
During this four-day promotion from 23rd May to 26th May, you will be able to sink your teeth into this specially crafted Argentinian menu, magically done by Chef Patron Diego, who is also stationed at London’s ZOILO and boCHINche in Singapore. He began his career in Buenos Aires and has great passion for food and wild products – something that transpires into the menu at ZOILO. He has worked alongside Argentine legend Francis Mallman and Ferran Adrià of three Michelin-starred restaurant El Bulli.

Mmmm, good stuff! The shredded crabs with crunchy toast and paired so well with the white wine.
Ojo de Bife
Grilled Argentine Rib Eye, Chips provenzal, Chimichurri
Paired with Argentine Red Wine (Luigi Bosca Malbec 2015)
Huge chunk of beauty came all the way from Argentina, grilled to perfection with the fats melted and proportionated well with the lean part. Succulent and tender. Touched up with the Chimichurri sauce that is made of finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, oregano and many more. Pretty exotic! Love the chips too that was tossed with aromatic herbs! Portion was really huge though.
Torta de 3 Leches
Milk Cake, Coffee, Citrus Crumble, Passion Fruit
Spongy airy milk cake, tangy passion fruit sorbet, and buttery crumble. All 3 types of different texture, blended well in one plate.
