It’s brunch time!
I love having brunch with my BFFs; we love good sandwiches or big breakfast, and also good cups of coffee as companions. So, on the Raya holiday, I dragged my BFF over, to this humble café – Pickle & Fig that is coated with gray cement base, decorated with wooden chairs, tables and pallets and a large chalk board menu plastered on the wall.
It seems that this café is specialized in smoothies as I can see there are pretty interesting smoothie-blends such as blue healer and goji-me. Sounds energetic but we both chose Flat White (Rm 8) and Caffe Latte (Rm 8.40) over smoothies. Need a wake up dose on the lazy holiday eh.
Nachos (Rm 12)
Round tortilla chips with melted cheddars, topped with sliced black olives and japapeno slices, finally dressed with salsa roja. Perfect snack for long hours
Smoked Turkey Roll & Cheddar (Rm 15)
Smoked turkey roll, sautéed mushroom, cheddar and infused oil on your choice of wholemeal bread or white bread. Stuffed with generous fillings between the toasted wholemeal bread; sautéed mushroom did a twist to the smoked turkey ham sandwich.
Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese (Rm 19)
Smoked salmon, capers, chives cream cheese, lemon tarragon mayo and mixed greens on focaccia, served with hand-cut triple cooked wedges and salad.
