Friendscino Cafe @ Damansara Perdana
Same old table, same old place…
It was 4 years ago we visited this restaurant; and thanks to the bulk-buying-deal, we settled ourselves in this old place.
There aren’t many changes on the interior, but yes, the name of this restaurant has changed from Friendster Cafe to Friendscino Cafe.
The deal came with 4-course set meal which consists of salad, soup of the day, main course and a dessert. Drinks were not included, we ordered this refreshing one at RM 8.
Started with salad which was lack of dressing.
Soup of the day – the wild mushroom soup served with garlic toast.
On the mains, I had Norwegian Salmon (RM 27)
The salmon was pan seared and accompanied by cold baby potato mayo and sweet basil served with smoked barbecue sauce. The sauce was overpowering to my liking. It would be great alone without the help of sauce.
New Zealand Lamb Chopped (Rm 27) and served with French fries, daily vegetables and creamy garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was good enough for the lamb chop, but we wish there were more sauce to go with the fries.
Dessert of the day. Rich chocolaty brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The portion was really huge, we could hardly finish our desserts after the 3 courses. Burrrp*
Well, revisiting the restaurant after 4 years reminded us how and why we were here. Old days, where we had extra time to food around and make leisure visits to each other’s house but not now anymore. ahhh….
True friendship isn’t easy to get. Do treasure it and keep it when you found one.
Dear friend, thanks for buying me this meal. 🙂
Happy 18-year-friendship. (We gotta wait for the other one to come back for celebration, again)
