We always find Japanese wagyu beef is highly price, very expensive kind. But after reading the Kampungboycitygal introduced about The Wagyu Restaurant, it seems like we can “splurge” a little too for a lunch. And yep for one of our wednes-dates, I dated Citygal and Mocas here for lunch.
The Wagyu Restaurant
Located on the second floor inside The 19th Suzuki Hanten at Lorong Yap Kwan Seng, The Wagyu Restaurant is serving deliciously marbling high quality Japanese wagyu beef at a more pocket-friendly price.
At the ground floor is where the Suzuki Hanten located, a place specializing in chuka ryori中華料理, where you can find the heart-wowing and delicious Spicy Mapo Tofu (also the best I can find in town). Read up my experience about this place!
Wagyu Steak Set (Rm 120 for 200gram)
The set comes with rice, soup, salad and a drink. You get to choose a sauce from the few namely Japanese grated radish sauce, Chinese spicy sauce, Japanese wasabi sauce and lemon butter soy sauce. We had our steak made medium and to go with the Japanese grated radish sauce. It was tender and succulent, but there was a small part that needed some jaw exercise, slightly fibrous to chew.
