Saw this place from social media ads quite often during last December. We decided to make a visit for a “French feel” dinner and it turned out to be quite a remarkable one. So glad to have this bunch of friends who enjoy trying out new dining places together.

I am extremely happy with the Cheras neighbourhood here. There are getting more and more and more restaurants to check out at this area, all queuing up in my list.
Besides the Chinese restaurants that dish up amazing zi char dishes and usual kopitiam for pan mee, pork noodles, CKT and all, there is this viral Chicken Rice restaurant pops up here in Connaught! Yay! There is no need to travel till Kepong and queue for this chicken rice!

I believe there is no one dunno about this viral chicken rice in Kepong. Best of all, it has now expanded with a new outlet here in Taman Connaught, with a retro vintage décor inside out.

Smooth Whole Leg Rice 滑鸡饭 – 鸡腿+鸡二度 (Rm 16)
Price can be slightly steep but you get what you paid. The chicken is deboned prior to serving, drizzled with house’s special soy sauce, topped with crispy garlic bits and served with a bowl of fragrant rice. The chicken leg was pretty smooth and silky in its nice drizzles of savoury sweet soy sauce. However, the fragrant rice was too soft to my liking (personal preference, cos I always like pearl grains) and not as aromatic as I thought.
