One Brick Drop @ Jalan Damai, KL
I hope I am not too late on exploring this place, here to one of the happening cafe in the city!
One Brick Drop
Located at Jalan Damai, Kampung Datuk Keramat, this space is formerly an embassy bungalow and now turned into this restaurant space – One Brick Drop. This place offers quite a great variety of Japanese-western fusion dishes. Handrolls, aromatic claypot rice, small bites and snacks, sushi roll and don, risotto and pasta; dishes are pretty attractive and interesting.
The space is bright and airy; a little raw looking concrete interior and furnished with modern sleek features. Quite chill and inviting.
Latte (RM 16)
Honey Ranch Tai (RM 46)
Tai, honey ranch sauce, microgreens, chilli oil and herbs
Beautifully presented, refreshing with a hint of aromatic spiciness, layered with textures. I really like this sharing dish!
Miso Eggplant (RM 28)
Grilled chitose organic eggplant, salsa, cheese and microgreens
Engawa Claypot Rice (RM 88)
Their signature claypot rice which was very aromatic and flavourful, savoury and fatty! Topped with melty engawa, ebiko, fried garlic, sweet preserved radish, and crispy chicken skin and dressed with teriyaki sauce. What’s more, we love that scorched rice bits that gave an extra crisp to the dish! Yummy!
Will definitely be back for more as well as to check out the Re Patisserie that takes up a spot on the first floor too (but they do have a showcase at OBD counter)! However, parking can be a headache around here as it is yellow line along the road. So, park at your own risk, or come by Grab.
