Naughty Nuri’s @ Desa Sri Hartamas, KL

I have not been to Bali before, but I would always love to try out the Balinese pork ribs that many talk about… Throw confetti, there is no need to take the flight Bali for them because we can now enjoy the ribs here in KL!!!

Located in Desa Sri Hartamas, a place for yummy wicked ribs and brutal martinis. Filled with inviting ambience and lit with soft light which creates a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. A great hang out place after working hours. The ventilation was pretty good as we didn’t find it stuffy and we didn’t walk out with smoky scent even though we were seated next to the BBQ grilling pit. Since it was located next to Bricks & Barrels, patrons will get to enjoy the live band performance from next door while tasting the succulent ribs or any other porky delights.

Beer & Pork, the best friend.

Orange “Poke” Martini (Rm 28)
With a choice of vodka and gin, orange marmalade, grand marnier, orange juice, orange bitters, triple sec.

And yes, you will be entertained with their “shake Shake” dance if you ordered the martini or any house’s cocktail creation. Dance along with them if you loved to.

Naughty Nuri’s 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs (Rm 39 for 1 slab)
Specially marinated with Balinese spice and char grilled with a special sauce till its flavour enhanced. This signature appeared on every table and we knew this is what we want so we had it double. Done pretty good and was infused with flavours from the flavoursome marination. I love the hot and spicy sauce that served along with the ribs, it gave an extra kick. Some may find the portion too small for the price to pay for, and some find it very small as compared to the version in Bali, but we find it okay. If were to compare this with Naughty Babe and Pigs & Wolf, I still find my vote goes to the Pigs & Wolf.

Grilled Smokin’ Oriental Pork Belly Salad (Rm 23.8)
Char grilled oriental marinate pork belly on a bed of mixed salads, dressed with cucumber, tomatoes, pineapples, hard rock egg drizzled with ginger sesame soya sauce dressing.

Potato Bacon Grenade Bombs (Rm 18)
Crispy deep fried breaded bacon wrapped in potatoes melted with cheddar cheese and accompanied with cocktail sauce. It was cheesy and fragrant with bacon bits. We love this very much and thinking to imitate one at party! Hehe.

Asian Ham Porky Fries (Rm 18)
Fingers Lickin’ Good fries served with chillies mayonnaise. Another idea to go for the pot luck/house warming or party. Luncheon meat fries and this version was not salty at all. Great as beer-snack too!

Indonesian Style Mee Goreng (Rm 18)
Advance and a little atas version of Indo-mee. Stir Fried Mee Goreng with mix vegetables, onion, chillies and sliced pork with black sauce. Pretty yummy in flavours!
