Located at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, just a merely few minutes drive from KL city center, overtook the premise that previously where Fullhouse Café situated; this is a Chinese Restaurant that features Shun De Cuisine. Shun De is a district in the city of Foshan, Guangdong. Their cooking style is quite similar to our local Cantonese dishes and in Youmiqi, stew is one of the signature methods in presenting the dishes.

This 2-storey premise is coated in stylish black and decorated in a sleek and modern way, housed numerous private dining rooms that cater for private dining/ function.

Appetizers – Cucumber and Chicken Feet cooked herbs such as dong gui, wolfberries and red dates. Love the cucumbers a lot; sourish, flavourful and crunchy cucumber, a must have dish on meal in China.

Poon Choi 盘菜 (Rm 428)
Or known as Big Bowl Feast. A traditional type of dish originating from Hong Kong Village; served in wooden, porcelain or metal basins due to the huge size and communal style consumption. Youmiqu offers 7 types of Poon Choy that is priced differently and catered for your preference; Youmiqi Poon Choi (Rm 188 for 4 pax), Reunion Poon Choy (Rm 268 for 6 pax), Youmiqi Seafood Poon Choi (Rm 618 for 8 pax), Prosperous Poon Choi (Rm 298 for 10 pax), Fatt Choy Poon Choi (Rm 428 for 10 pax), Premium Poon Choi (Rm 688 for 10 pax) and Dragon Horse Poon Choy (Rm 999 for 10 pax).

Mushroom, dried oyster, sea cucumber, tiger prawns, broccoli, roasted pork (siu yoke), abalone, chicken and etc are layered accordingly and beneath all these ingredients was the sliced lotus root and baby Chinese vegetable that had absorbed all the essence. The soup underlying all these ingredients was at the sweetest note too!

Lap Mei Claypot Rice 腊味煲仔饭 (Rm 38)
The best Lap Mei Fan I have came across so far! Each grain was infused with the essence and the aroma of waxed meat. It was a brilliant idea that they added in spring onions to give a distinctive fragrance and colour to the pot of fluffy rice. Too yummy and too fragrant.

Cheese Baked Yan Tat 芝士焗紫心薯 (Rm 29)
A very innovative and healthy dessert; purple sweet potato and cheese baked together to create a sweet-savoury healthy delicacy.

Shrimp sashimi 虎虾拼盘 (Rm 98)
Not available in the Chinese New Year Menu but one can always order from the a la carte menu. Served with bitter gourd, black fungus, fresh shrimp, deep fried prawn head on a bed of ice. This is probably the most exotic combination that served chilled I have ever tried. You can start it in any way you like but I will recommend to start with the bitter gourd, sprinkle on some sugar and chen pi (sun-dried mandarin peel) to create a refreshing crunchy and sourish-sweet bitter gourd. By the way, their bitter gourd is never bitter!!! As for the black fungus and fresh shrimp, dip in the soy sauce + wasabi (the very special in house wasabi essence) dressing that create a thrilling and exciting tang to the palate. You will be amazed by the flavour of wasabi essence. The deep fried prawn head?! Just munch it like a kind of snack.
