Lee Ga Korean Noodles Restaurant

Located at the hustle Desa Sri Hartamas, Lee Ga Korean Noodles Restaurant is the place specializing in this Korean cold noodles – Naengmyeon, another specialty noodles that I have not tried before (#failfoodblogger me only know about Korean BBQ and Korean fried chicken). Besides Naengmyeon, Lee Ga Korean Noodles Restaurant also serves Suyuk (boiled pork or beef) and Gukdap (cooked rice in hot soup).

Oh yes, then I decided to explore a little more on Korean specialties which leads to more of my first try on Tangsuyuk and Jjangmyoen

Small eaters do take note; portions here can be really huge! Do not attempt to over order like us, and ended up with bursting stomachs.

Same like other Korean restaurants, we were served with a few banchan such as Cabbage Kimchi, Radish Kimchi and Pickled Radish (?). I really like them to go with the beef and pork dishes we ordered.

Bibim Naengmyeon + Sosogi Suyuk (Rm 46)
Spicy cold noodles and boiled beef slices combo.
I was hooked on this spicy cold noodles when I first saw it on social media. Looking ass-kicking but it was actually not. Chewy and lacy thin strands of noodles, served with the spicy sauce, topped with sliced cucumber, radish, and half hard-boiled egg. Give a balance mix to everything before digging in. It was very refreshing and chilling cold noodles, not spicy at all despite the very red looking spiciness. Good for hot weather days too! And I would say it has more flavours than the Gukbap we ordered.

Sosogi Suyuk came huge in portion! They were lean yet tender, garnished with a handful of chopped spring onions.

Dwenji Gukbap (Rm 26)
Pork soup with rice; came piping hot and loaded with lots of pork slices and offals. The soup itself had quite a good rich sweetness of flavour but after adding the rice into the soup, it turned bland. So we gotta season it with the fermented shrimp and the chili paste condiments available on the table to give extra flavours to the dish.

Mandu (Rm 5 per piece with min order of two)
Very huge king size dumplings made of minced pork and beef and house made dumpling skin, it was packed with juice! We ordered 3, one each and okay… our stomachs were bursting by the end of the meal.

Ahhh, not forgetting, this pot of soup is really something to die for! Very rich and flavourful. We finished off the pot of soup! It comes really hot, please take note or it will really burn your tongue.
