Neighbour’s Coffee Bar

Tucked inside the Happy Garden neighbourhood, Neighbour’s Coffee Bar is famous for its Japanese inspired fuwa-fuwa soufflé pancake. I was there on a Sunday afternoon; this café was a full house with queue for tables before my turn. So do expect a queue if you are planning to come here in the afternoon on weekends.

The menu is rather simple, with a short few pages that covers breakfast, brunch plates, pasta and beverages.

Fuwa Fuwa Pancake with Soft Serve (Rm 24)
Soufflé pancakes came in jingly, served with yogurt flavour soft serve and pancake syrup. The pancake was soft and airy, melt-in-mouth texture and filled with moist. However, it contained not much texture aside from these.

I wouldn’t say it was not good. But when it comes comparing with the Gram Pancake, I find it lack of some satisfaction. Gram Pancake has more layers of texture in it, it is more soufflé with cloud liked texture, and the pancake sink fluffily in between teeth. Of course, this is still a good fuwa fuwa pancake that can be found in KL.
