Before the end of 2017, I got an opportunity to greet, meet up and have fun with the whole Butterfly community at The KL Journal Hotel hosted by Traveloka. It was an amazing and fun-filled 2D1N staycation. I made new friends and got to see the growth of this community, also a perfect staycation I needed so much to unwind and destress and I got to learn about…

Traveloka

One of the leading flight and hotel booking platforms in Southeast Asia, serving more than 100,000+ flight routes and 100,000+ hotels worldwide.

I heard about Traveloka, but I never thought there is also an app too. This definitely comes friendly to me as I can hook on it, check on the good deals and plan for holiday anytime, anywhere as long as I have my mobile phone with me!

The Traveloka App can be downloaded from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) for FREE.

Hotel and flight booking made easy with Traveloka and here are things I love about Traveloka!

1. Get notified with the ongoing promotion!
And enjoy the best room rate and promotion. Remember to use the price alert function and this intelligent app will alert you with ongoing promotion! Must ON this function to avoid missing out any good deals! *kiasu*

2. 0% monthly instalment fee
Traveloka offers 6 months and 12 months instalment plan. This is super cool! You don’t have to stress to destress! And hey, there is not much app out there are providing instalment plan on travel! You don’t have to starve daily or “ngai min bao” (munch on bread only) daily in order to save up for a trip.

3. Payment options
Payments can be done via credit card, debit card, paypal, internet banking and even if you don’t have anything above, you can also cash in 7-eleven without additional transaction fee.

4. Honest price
Traveloka offers honest price where all prices listed are inclusive of all taxes, surcharges and payment fee. I hate those booking app/ website comes with a lot more charges when sum up in the end. Jeeez! But you won’t face such problem with Traveloka!

5. Real Guest Reviews
More than 2,000,000 verified reviews from real hotel guest. Their reviews will help you to choose your best stay! Must read up those reviews by the reviewers, do your part to write up the review after each hotel stay and experience of yours too, in order to help out other people on choosing their stay.

6. Special discounts
Members get to enjoy special discounted hotel rates, something like the insider deals! There is also in house promotion on air tickets you must not missed! So sign up now because only members get these deals!

7. Stay guarantee
In case the hotel is overbooked or there are problems with your boking, Traveloka will recommend a similar hotel for you at no add on cost. Else, you will have your money back! How cool!

There is another thing I need to highlight – do use their APP!!! I’d found that the price is very much cheaper on the app as compared to their website. Another TIPS for you all.

I loved so much about the things we did here. One of them is the afternoon handicraft session where we got the chance to choose from a few workshop: Bath Bomb & Scrub Workshop by Wunderbath, Leather Passport Holder Workshop by DiyKL, Travel Journaling Workshop by OrangeBerry, and Watercolour Floral Workshop by Black Milk Project. I really hope I could attend all four of them because every class were really interesting. However, each class required 3 hours.

Their Kedai Kopi Journal serves really good wagyu beef burger! Look at the plump meat and burger bun! Juicy and succulent. It’s very price friendly too! If I am not wrong, their set lunch is only priced at RM 30 nett, comes with a snack (appetizer), a main dish (this burger is included!!!) and a drink! How affordable!
