Kamimura Japanese Restaurant
Little did I remember, my last visit to Kamimura was back in 2016, at their old place inside The Weld shopping complex. Happy to see that they have now relocated to this new place in Taman Danau Desa, taking up a premise at the first floor, right above Watson. Yay, nearer to me again and I do not have the jungle through the traffic if I am cravings for good Japanese delights.
Kamimura Japanese Restaurant serves homey Japanese cooked dishes (as for now). There is a wide selection of dishes on the menu, ranging from appetizer to fried dish, salad to simmered dishes, and tummy fillers such as onigiri, donburi, udon and soba.
I have been here twice and here is the compilation of both of my visits. I was with friends on my first visit so most of my orders were snack bites and fried dishes to go with sake. Really love their appetizer bites to go with the sake! Their dishes create a great harmonious melody with the sake we had!
As for the second visit, I was here with my family; so I ordered mainly the tummy fillers and some fried bites. And I must say Kamimura serves really delicious bits and all of them go great with sake or a beer!
First thing first, a bottle of sake to pair with our meal! Sake always compatible well with Japanese snack dishes/ appetizer!
