SWITZERLAND: Kambly Erlebnis (Kambly Experience)
After partying in the happening Entlebucher Alpabfahrt festival , had beer and delicious bratwurst which took place in Schüpfheim on 24 September 2022, we moved on to our next agenda to sample all the delicious Swiss biscuit in Kambly Erlebnis. Yes! That’s another eating agenda and this was also our lunch. LOL!

Kambly Erlebnis (Kambly Experience)
Kambly is the largest biscuit manufacturer in Switzerland, with more than 100 years of history. It is also one of the famous biscuits in Switzerland and its products serve one of the best souvenirs to bring home for family and friends.
There is this Kambly Experience in Emmental Valley, easily accessible Bern or Luzern, located right at Trubschachen Station.
This place is like a visitor centre where you can experience and taste on a variety of Kambly’s products. It also offers the educational learning on the history of this famous biscuit, through the multimedia presentations, and some interactive activities.
As you enter the premise, you will be greeted by rows and rows of shelves, fully filled with bags of delicious biscuits, sweets and savouries. On each type of the biscuits, there are samples to try on! You may just eat as many as you wish, with unlimited taste on them! It is truly a Swiss biscuit paradise! So, remember to come with a light stomach!
There is this interesting story telling section with moving utensils, looking magical.
Also, you can learn about the history of this biscuit brand through the interactive stations, I even tried answering the quiz. It was quite fun.
Bretzeli, Sable, Goldfish, Butterfly, Meringue Truffe, Crackers, Pretzel and many more; and those coated with chocolate such as Godiva and Cailler.
Mount Matterhorn on the biscuit. This was also one I picked up as souvenirs during the end of our trip!
Even the signature Bretzeli comes in different flavours too, such as original, orange, or with milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Gosh, there are a lot to sample!
Ohhh, this is my favourite!
After trying out all types of biscuits, you may purchase these bags of biscuits home. Plus point, they are all bigger in size and priced cheaper than those you may find in supermarket.
I was really excited on this because I got to sample all of them, try them out and pick the best biscuits I like to bring home as souvenirs later.
There is also a café inside the premise, offering fruit tarts, cheesecake, flans, sandwich, croissant and fine chocolate. Order them to pair with your hot or cold coffee or chocolate. Slowly take a sip with some of their freshly baked goods.
Kambly Experience hosts children’s workshop too. If you are into these activities with your kids, you can sign them up. Schedule and cost are available at their website.
