When Haidilao first opening in Sunway Pyramid, I really wanna go but due to the hype and long queue and the crowd, it was cancelled off from my thoughts. As soon as Haidilao opened their second branch in Pavilion Elite, time to grab the buddy to “da bin lou” together.

I have tried Haidilao in ShenZhen, China many years back and I really really love it. Glad to see that after a few years, Haidilao is now populating in KL (third outlet opening soon in Sunway Velocity Mall).

I reached early on one weekday at around 10.30am, there were already a number of people on the queue for tables. While waiting, I was given snack, drinks and the origami paper to kill time. So, if you manage to make 20 of this origami crane, you will get to redeem a drink; 50 cranes for a vege dish or 80 paper cranes for a dish less than Rm 20. It is obviously a good activity to kill time with your gang.

The staff called out numbers as soon as the clock hit 11am. We were leaded to our table and given hot towels, aprons and hairbands. Mobile phone plastic bag is available too. Haidilao definitely has the best service ever.

We placed our order through the tablets provided; chose our soup base first and then meat and vege dishes. Glad to see that orders are available in half or full portions; with the half portions available, we can try more dishes yo!

We had Tomato, Spicy Sichuan without sediments, Pig’s Stomach with Pepper and Three Delicary (Seafood). My favourite soup went to rich and sourish Tomato Soup and umami yet refreshing Three Delicacy.

I got mine done and walked out with a happy face. LOL

Compare to the one I had in ShenZhen, I find China’s version has more variety in terms of ingredients and yep, I prefer the China’s version very much. I still remember that delicious 猪大肠 I had and it was way so delicious! Miss it very very much!

Revisit to Haidilao Hot Pot Malaysia? I will still head over for it! 
