The all new Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Hotel is now re-opened after the four months of renovation. Its new look is now lined with some zen-ish feel. Patterned tiles, framed glass and golden panel wall sectioned the areas, and not forgetting the lemons arrangement here and there in the dining area. The whole ambience is refreshing yet modern, a revitalising design by Bond Design Studio Inc from Japan.
Need no much introduction. Everyone sure knows about Lemon Garden, which is well known for its extensive buffet selection. Be it Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, Malay, Japanese, or Western delights, they are all very well prepared with top quality and fresh ingredients, make into lip-smacking dishes.
I was at their launch last Friday. It was also the night where they featured their Seafood Dinner Buffet (happening every Fridays and Saturdays). Do check out the spread available! The seafood station was so much ohmmp! Filled with a wide range of fresh delicacies like oysters in huge size, scallops, crabs, squids, mussels, prawns and sashimi.
Chinese corner was amazing too. Especially the double boiled soups which are able to fuel up your energy lost over the week at work. So soothing! There were also dim sum, made to order noodles, and also the Sze Chuan style mala prawns that packed with exciting spicy numbing kicks.
Western theatre kitchen offers dishes such as cheese, salads, soup, roast beef, glazed lamb ribs, crafted bread, and pizza that are done using the wood oven. Also, you may customize your pasta and have them prepared at a la minute.
Another corner that made me ohh-ed and ahh-ed over and over again was the dessert pavilion. I lingered at this corner the most and spent most of the time capturing all the little sweets. Local and international desserts such as Coconut Pandan Hot Souffle, ice kacang, ice cream, waffles, crepes, chocolate fountains, cakes, tarts and fruits. Wish my stomach capacity could keep expanding to fit them all.
For the whole month of March, the first 50 guests daily gets to enjoy a great promotion. For every full paying diner, the second gets to dine at RM1. This promotion is Valid for lunch (Monday – Friday) and dinner (Sunday – Thursday)
