I have a thing towards the Mamak Rojak or namely the Pasembur and I always look out for a good one which satisfied my craving as well as suit my taste buds. I have found one, which is located in Taman Midah. Recently, I found another one and I actually braved through the thunder and storm *true story* for it (craving just hit me. Ouch!).
Located in C180, Balakong, Restoran Alif Bistro has got the rojak that I fancy. Like the usual mamak rojak, this one is also loaded with fried dough fritters, hard-boiled egg, fried bean curd, bean sprout, shredded yam bean and cucumber. The difference on this version, there are potatoes, whole peanuts (not ground) and bigger dried shrimp instead of keropok added in; finally drenched with lil’ sweet and spicy fragrant peanut sauce in red. It was pretty addictive, and I love it when munching on the dried shrimp. So aromatic and left a light salty aftertaste lingering round the oral cavity. Priced at Rm 5 per plate.
Top up Rm 3 for the sambal squid or sotong for extra kick. The squid was pretty good too! Go for mee rojak if you want some tummy filler.
As usual, if you come across a good rojak/pasembur, do let me know! *wink*
