Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf @ Bangsar Village

The sweetie wolves were hunting for the oink oink for lunch. There they were, blowing off the piggy’s houses and wolfed down the piggy dishes.

A warm and cosy restaurant, painted in black on the outside but quite a colourful one inside. Armed with contrasting pink and gray pillows around the sunlight area; and the dimmed area is beautified in a very simple way.

Grilled Pork Salad (Rm 22)
Pieces of siu yoke served with avocado and fresh garden greens; tossed in their very appetizing balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We love their salad dressing and the very fragrant salty bits siu yoke!

Eggs Benedict (Rm 18)
Two prettily poached eggs with crispy pork bacon, served on the toasted bread and dressed with the sauce, glossy, simple and nutritious; the perfect dish for breakfast or lunch or brunch or even for tea time!

Mighty Piggy Burger (Rm 24)
Yeeeha! Juicy pork patty, cheese, tomatoes, greens, fried egg and herbed mayo sandwiched in between the sweet bun. The pork patty was pan-grilled and able to remain it juiciness. One of the most juicy pork patties I had. It was very juicy and flavourful; but on the saltier side.

We enjoyed it though the slight saltiness might be the minor minus point. Love it.

The Wolf’s favourite (Rm 27)
Creamy spaghetti with smoked pork bacon and button mushrooms, topped with a poached egg and crispy bacon bits.

Poked over the poached egg, runny egg yolk!!!

Verdict: There may be mixed reviews on this porky restaurant but we do find that the food here is good, or perhaps we were too hungry during late lunch?! We love the salad and the burger and the pasta. Everything were very well balance  with flavours and the portions came quite reasonable too (for the price we paid). Do hope they maintain their standard.
