Jiufen 九份 (“nine portions”) got its name because during the Qing Dynasty, the village here housed only nine families and every time the shipments arrived from town, the village requested for only “nine portions” to be distributed to the people in this place.

I have heard so much about Sage from the bff couples – kampungboycitygal and broughtup2share. They told me, this is the must place to go and their lunch set is so much value for money. However, it is always tough to make a go as the set lunch is only available during weekdays while most people working on the weekdays, right?! Glad that I got my rest days and managed to grab the partner-in-crime, Mocas to go with me on the second day of the New Year. Yay!
