Like I said earlier, this definitely needs a full review on itself. I have visited twice in a year, in winter and autumn, tried out 2 different courses. There are a few outlets in Dotonburi area and 1 in Umeda. I went to the one in Dotonbori,

Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M is specialized in serving Matsusaka beef that is famous for the high fat to meat ratio. All the cows are fed with beer to create a heathy appetite; special body massage is given with a mixture of shochu to create a smooth blood circulation throughout the cow’s body. The menu is pretty extensive, beef courses menu is highly recommended for those first timers, always, so that you will be able to try out all the variety available. Do note that there is a minimum order on the course menu.

There are 3 types of beef courses – Standard Course (¥3,800 per person), Special Course (¥5,800 per person) and Premium Course (¥7,800 per person). I tried their special course on my first visit and premium course on the second visit. There are differences between these 2 courses, so scroll down to check them out.

Beef Platters for both Special (serving for 2 pax) and Premium Course (serving for 1 pax)

The marbling of the beef was amazing, appeared in pinkish pink interlacing with the whitish fats. Perfect ratio. It was very delicious with the melt in mouth texture, especially the highest grade one just melted like butter on the palate. Unforgettable, just unforgettable. With very minimal seasoning such as salt, the grilled beef turned out mind-blowing! The course is pretty huge. When it comes to the beef platter, I will suggest you to savour the highest grade first or else you might feel jelak if keeping it for the last.
