Rise & Shine!
Hooray, it’s weekend again! Time to get a good rest and have a great breakfast/ brunch (except I only get to have my rest after work on the Saturdays).
Speaking of breakfast/ brunch, where is your favourite place?
I must say, this is my new favourite.
Taking up the premise at Lot No. 57 of Bangkung Row, Midi 57 is a more casual and relaxing restaurant as compared to the sister’s outlet – Le Midi Mediterranean Restaurant; serving plates of goods from Spanish to Italian. What you could find in the menu are such as tapas style appetizer, wood oven baked pizza, suckling pigs (which I heard it is quite affordable!!!), burgers, homemade pasta and desserts. Not to forget their wide selection of fun and interesting broozes; this place is so meant to be a great hang out place for friends and families, as well as the after-working-hour parties.
My friend once asked me, you don’t feel bored ah, with all the pork around?! My answer, NEVER.
So allow my porky journey continues… on le bff’s birthday!!!

If you are looking for a French cuisine restaurant that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket, put Croisette Café, the hearty and comfortable French place in your list. Tuck inside this old condominium, Croisette Café is a little gem that serves authentic French food, and sometimes comes with a little twist, in flavour or ingredient. I always wanna try out their main meals after the special tea session we have done it for Christine last year. Not until September, when there were reasons for me to make visits, parents’ wedding anniversary and family gathering. This is such an ideal place to hold family gathering, a place where you enter with casual dressed up and talk a little louder during meals. Hehe.
Croisette Café serves not only a la carte but also set dinner recently. Their set lunch comes at great value too! Do check out their fb page for weekly set lunch menu.

A tai-tai tea at home?!
Yes, I actually had my desserts take away and spent some quality time at home.
