Fake tai-tai is back in action, this round the real tai-tai is with me. We are taking you on a STEAL journey this round; an afternoon tea that will fill up your tummy but will not burn your pocket a hole.
Back to one of my favourite restaurants this round, trying out the afternoon tea in French style. Didn’t know they serve afternoon tea until the day when the real tai-tai brought me over. A laid-back place it is, perfect for a weekend treat; giving the peace to the mind while enjoying the bit and pieces of sweet and savouries and sipping on the hot beverages.
French food is all about pieces of art. I adore how fine they are, how beautifully they are plated, how the chef makes every element synchronise so well, and also how they give surprises on each dishes.
Sunday brunch, it has been really quite a while I see you. I love the peacefulness over the brunch, savouring the delicious bits that is sincerely prepared by the chef and presented on the table, and a small chat with the group. Especially this one, in my favourite French bistro, with bubbly and wine and all sort of great delicacies on the plate on a beautiful Sunday…

Manned by the lovely and energetic team behind Maison Francaise and leaded by passionate Chef Thierry, this is a French style bistro café which is created in a casual and much relaxed atmosphere, for one to enjoy the simple yet affordable and authentic French plates; that is ranging from warm to cold appetizer, cold platter to the amazing juicy steak and to the sweet ending; all in the simple one piece menu.
Pretty in white, lay with its usual modern and elegant atmosphere; filled with colourful paintings on the wall and comfortable lightning in the monotone dining area. Maison Francaise it is, the French House which is just about 5 minutes away from the city centre. A great hide out for out chill-out lunch or dinner, as well as the weekend pampering treats such as afternoon tea. Once you are in here, you will be in a relax mode, as though holidaying in a French mansion. If you love the sun and breeze, you can always opt to be seated at outdoor area, decorated with sweet floral setting. Contunue Reading
My very first and the only time stepping into Luna Bar was N years ago… until I have lost count when was it. Seated under the moon and stars, overlooking the beautiful KL view and KL tower, Luna Bar is always a romantic place for the couples and a happening place for a whole gang of buddies to get together. There was a lounge area too, which is just opposite the Luna Chill Out Bar, is equipped with comfortable couches where one can enjoy the skyscrapers of KL.
Now, the lounge area has transformed into a romantic dining area with beautiful setting.

“Food is like a work of art. The plate is my canvas. The ingredients are my paint. The customers are my critique” – Chef Daniel.
I have heard so much about Sage from the bff couples – kampungboycitygal and broughtup2share. They told me, this is the must place to go and their lunch set is so much value for money. However, it is always tough to make a go as the set lunch is only available during weekdays while most people working on the weekdays, right?! Glad that I got my rest days and managed to grab the partner-in-crime, Mocas to go with me on the second day of the New Year. Yay! Contunue Reading
