Prawn Mee @ Kedai Makanan dan Minuman Sing Woh, Kampung Cheras Baru

This surely is one best prawn mee find in Cheras area, which is nestled inside this kopitiam – Kedai Makanan dan Minuman Sing Who 勝和茶餐室 in Kampung Cheras Baru. This small stall offers not only prawn mee, but also mee suah and pork noodles. Well, their prawn mee stands out the best.

Prawn Mee, priced at RM 11 for a bowl (small); came loaded with ingredients such as fresh prawns in quite a huge size, shredded chicken, quarter piece of hard-boiled egg, lettuce with a bed of mee hoon (or noodles of your choice). I love its broth a lot! Clear prawn broth filled rich prawn essence, very sweet and umami! The prawns were bouncy, and the quantity of the prawn comes according to the size. Like this time I got 5 juicy prawns, which was quite huge also; but there was once I got 4 prawns with the size was bigger than this round. You may flavour the soup with the side chili sambal if you need more kick to it. But honestly, it is already very good at its own!
