My Burger Lab @ Seapark, PJ

The dark beauty

My Burger Lab needs no further elaboration, I guess. Many of you may have heard about the long queue for the burgers, the black black buns, the juicy patties that sandwiched in between the black buns…

Created by three young men as a team, their mission is to share a simple decent juicy burger with the public. They construct the experimental lab for burger, making everything from scratch, presenting the results at the affordable price. And… the results draw the patrons over. Contunue Reading

Ninja Joe @ The Gardens

Category : Fast Food, Kuala Lumpur, Pork Burger

When you have limited time for lunch, fast food is the quick way to satisfy your tummy.

I know, this is not something new to you. But, it is something new to me or us (with Chris&Christine) and it finally arrives in KL (other outlets: Sunway Pyramid and Tropicana City mall)

Ninja Joe is the name

Teriyaki Ninja – with one juicy pork patty, a slice of tomato and only one thin slice of lettuce; dressed with teriyaki sauce. I thought teriyaki sauce will be in dark colour, but this one was in light yellowish and tasted sweet.

ShenZhen09 Day 3 Dinner: Street Food + KFC Blueberry Egg Tarts

It is always best to have street food as dinner when you are feeling still full after the lunch. Along our way to supermarket, there was a lot of street food.

Street Food 1: Chou Tofu aka ‘Stinky Tofu’

‘Stinky ToFu’ is quite similar to the cheese. The ToFu has been fermented for months to produce the overpowering pungent odour and taste; so do those old cheeses.

This is the vendor I used to visit since my last visit 2 years ago. He was still having his business at the same spot near 福民文具批发市场 Fu-Min Stationary Wholesale Centre. He was preparing my order. The ToFu were deep fried before dipping them into the soup-liked sauce and brushed with spicy sauce. After that, the ToFus were loaded with abundant of pickles and coriander.

If I am not mistaken, it was about 8 to 10 pieces of ToFu priced only at RMB 4.

I personally dislike coriander. But once it matched with this ToFu, they become a perfect match! Sluuurrrpp! The ToFus smelled great and tasted Yummy too. It was really irresistible and I returned for more the next few days. Contunue Reading

ShenZhen09 Day 2 Dinner: 面点王@Book City

面点王 Mian-Dian-Wang is well-known as Chinese fast food chain in Shen Zhen. It is almost similar to those McD, KFC that appear everywhere; the only difference, 面点王 Mian-Dian-Wang serves Chinese Food rather than those fried and high calories pre-prepared food.

This is the only picture I have for their interior and environment around. I was prohibited from taking photo of their interior and deco. Guess they are a little blogger unfriendly. Here, you have to order straightly from the bar counter (something like self service as well). The chef and cooks will take order from you. There are a variety of dishes from appetizer to porridge to bao to vege to meat to dumplings to…

In conjunction with the Olympic 2008 in Beijing, McD came out with a new set meal — the gold medal meal set.

And you are entitled to get the limited edition of cola glass for FREE!!! All at just RM 15.40 (tax included), isn’t it a great deal?!

Glad that me and Ting Fang able to grab 2 sets for us. A set came with burger, drink, fries, desserts and limited edition glass! Perfect for our night-out 😛

Olympic game is staring tomorrow. Gonna grab a bag of chips and sit back and relax and watch the LIVE opening ceremony. Same to all of you, must not miss out this happening event!

Chinese New Year atmosphere is in the air.

The Thaipusum (did I spell it correctly?!) holiday, everyone must have outta for CNY goodies, clothes and preparation. I wish I could do a little shopping, joined the crowd out there and inhaled the air of CNY…

But I could only sob with books. This is killing me. Heavy workloads and exams and tests all came in a sudden. I am suffocated and could hardly breathe through these hectic lifeless killing-ness studies.

Inhaler, I need you.
Extra O2, I need you.

Brain Juice, I need you.
Enthusiasm in books, I need you.
Focusing and concentration, I need you too.
PASS”es in exam/test, I need you MORE.

Hence, I stopped myself from reading and drove out for McD’s drive thru for the Chicken Prosperity Burger Set which consisted of a Large Curly Fries, Large cool ice Green Tea and the Peppery Grilled Chicken Burger. Contunue Reading
