Japan trip 2024: 11D10N in Yamagata, Sendai, Aizu Wakamatsu & Tokyo

Peak winter has gone and spring is approaching. March, especially early March is considered a good timing to travel to Tohoku region for some snow pleasure at a comforting temperature. Also, there is lesser chance of getting heavy snow storm which causes the haywire on train transportation. Well, there is still chance but lesser, I guess.

Are you ready for my itinerary? LOL
Well, for this round, we were with all the drinking-kaki(s), we made it to many whiskey distilleries, some sake breweries, and focus a lot on sake and whiskey and drinking. Most of the time, we were rushing for early trains and relied mostly on Konbini’s onigiri, sandwiches, titbits and liquid diet (LOL because some places we went has nothing to eat at all if past meal time).

1. Slurp down a bowl of comforting ramen in Kamo to Negi

First things first, a comforting bowl of ramen from Ramen Kamo to Negi after dropping our luggage in the hotel. This place has been in my list for the longest time, we were pretty lucky the queue was not too long that evening. There were only around 10 pax queueing in front of us. Luck was on our side. We got to down a real good bowl of duck ramen.
