Little Xigong Restaurant 西公仔饭店 – Located in Kepong, is a Chinese variety restaurant which offers hearty mouth-watering dishes and Seafood.
Started off with 芭蕉三鲜 (RM25). It was a very addictive! Petai and three types of fresh from the sea – sotong (squid), prawns and fish stir-fry in appetizing sourish; the taste was very similar to Assam sambal. One could have few bowls of rice with just the sauce alone. and Rm 25 for this Portion, it was well worth every cent spent. Contunue Reading
We discovered this dai chow place by chance during our once-a-month grocery shopping in Kepong. To be exact, it is the monthly pearl-rice-shopping and filling-up-the-rice-tank. Yes you hear me, we came all the way from Cheras to get our rice supply; simply because this rice wholesaler supplies premium quality of rice.
All right, back to topic…
Kedai Makanan Kok Hing, a dai chow restaurant (with a branch in Bentong) that is located a few door steps away from where we shop for the rice supply. It has been here for about 7 years; serving yummy Chinese fares at a very affordable price. As you can see from the photo, that is where the kitchen positioned; patrons will take their seats in the air-conditioned-shop located right opposite this kitchen stall.

My dad who is the seafood-super-fans loves persuading us to Klang for seafood, but we always complain that it is very far away and rather spend the time sleeping at home or gaming. He never gives up looking out for a great seafood place. Till he found out this place…….

The seafood comes from Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan. They don’t serve freshwater fish, and only fish from the sea. With the Menu plastered on the walls, we just ordered randomly.
