Award winning guest chef Lino Sauro debuts authentic Sicilian cuisine at The Library. Hail from Sicily, one of the Singapore’s top chefs is performing his skill and showcasing his signature creation this March from 14th March to 18th March 2017 here in The Library of Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur.
Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur is another new creation of YTL Luxury Hotel, also their second autograph collection hotel. Located at Jalan Kemunting, which is a hidden gem in the bustling busy city center, it features a distinctive vibe and character with a different perspective on the local scene mixed with a bit of edgy style and adventure. One can experience the delicious local food nearby, check out the art galleries and legendary landmark around this area.
Or, guests can choose to dine-in in the in-house French restaurant.
The all new Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Hotel is now re-opened after the four months of renovation. Its new look is now lined with some zen-ish feel. Patterned tiles, framed glass and golden panel wall sectioned the areas, and not forgetting the lemons arrangement here and there in the dining area. The whole ambience is refreshing yet modern, a revitalising design by Bond Design Studio Inc from Japan.
Afternoon tea is one of the things I fancy most. When St. Regis first launched their afternoon tea, I told the real tai-tai, we gotta make our way here (but the real tai-tai made her way here earlier without me). Imagine, being seated in the lux looking comfy Drawing Room, sipping over a cup of freshly brewed tea, nibble on the flaky butter scones and the never-ending conversation all afternoon. So therapeutic! How I wish I can have one Sunday like this every month.
So then when we were planning for the RICEgang reunion, this place just popped up in our mind. These real tai-tai(s) decided to ditch the family, escape from the work and spared a short 3 hours for this pampering session and made each other’s special Valentine!

Gong Xi Fa Cai, everyone! Happy Chinese New Year!
CNY is still ongoing and so we need to keep the cny vibes continue! No idea what to make for cny dishes anymore? Dining out is one of the better choice as many restaurants are serving sumptuous CNY cuisine.
The Year of Fire Rooster this year. Chynna, Hilton KL has specially crafted a very refreshing and healthy modern Cantonese menu for all; highlighting the healthy eats and serving not overly satiating dishes to all. Especially the lousang which is an interesting one and it was everyone’s fave!
The bff-s threw me the sweetest birthday celebration ever!
They know me so well and planned me the sweetest theme ever – floral and dated me to my favourite place for lunch.

“A place where friends meet for fun board games,
Couples share a candlelight dinner,
Strangers who tell their stories,
Over coffee and adventurers,
Who love to try new cuisine.”
At Em, you can travel the world through their food!
Yes yes, so much I love about their tagline.

It’s here again! The last month of the year, the cheerful month. I believe many are in the holiday festive mood now, busy with their Christmas shopping and waiting for the day to come. Have you all thought of the place to get-together?! I find Colonial Café at Majestic Hotel KL is a great place for party and gathering.
