The lively Solaris Mont Kiara is now the Korean hub, with a lot of Korean eateries, be it BBQ or modern or authentic Korean Retaurant, they are just mushroomed over the area, such as Sae Ma Eul, Gogi King, Palsaik, Gangnam 88, Café Bene… and etc.

Ting ting ting Ting… (The music played pre and post announcement in KLIA).
That’s the rhythm I love most; pack with excitement before flying while listen to the tense flight announcement on air. However, when it comes to the pre-flight meal in the airport, it often gives me headache. The food in airport is always mediocre and expensive. Often, I will have to settle down with fast food and most of the time will be that particular fast food chain because it is the most affordable one I can find.
But not anymore now as we are opened with another option that comes with delicious food that is not expensive and it’s really healthy too! Yay, no more greasy fast food pre-flight to me!
Let’s fuel up the tummy before flying!
It has been a real long while I don’t get to put up a tea dress and enjoy the tai-tai style afternoon tea (#fake tai-tai here). Together with kampungboycitygal, we dressed up on a Sunday, came here for the tete-a-tete session and churned into the aromatic tea atmosphere.

Today’s recipe, it will be the addictive sourish tom yum dish, with a variety of seafood including the New Zealand Greenshell Mussels from New Zealand Trade Enterprise.
Tom Yum Seafood with New Zealand Greenshell Mussels
Weeks ago, I received a bag of ingredients from New Zealand Trade Enterprises and assigned with special task. Yep, the challenge is back. I am supposed to use the ingredients and transform them into something. I have to say, I am not a good cook and will always go for the quickest and simplest but yummy dishes (my bento rule no. 1, haha!). So, this round, it is going to be something simple and nice; quick and one can easily just perform it at home, or … prepare it for bento too!
Miso Grilled Hake with Yakisoba
When my friends were all in Japan and kept spamming the wall with everything in Japan, what I can do is to look back my trip’s photos and that actually motivated me to touch on my backlog a bit.
Being a first timer in Tokyo, what I did is mainly quite touristy. But.. If never been to these places, I will feel as though I have never been to Tokyo at all. So, here are the things I did when I was in Tokyo.

What’s the best thing on scotching hot day like this?!
To me, it’s gotta be some salmon sashimi, a rice don, and paired up with beer!
And this place, made me visited twice in a week.
The Fat Fish
It is a pain to see the patisserie are all populated in PJ, KL area, because I am unable to reach there in minutes. Not now anymore as there is a good patisserie popped up some times ago in a quieter hidden side of Connaught area, in Cheras. And, it is now my frequent places for afternoon tea or after work chill out place.
