To be honest, I really love Taimei(s)

You may ask,

Who is she/ who are they?!

They are…

Selina, Ella, Hebe, Jolin Tsai, Xiao S, Da S…………….

See, taimei!!!
I like the idea where they name the food on the menu after Taiwanese celebrities!

We seldom come over here; therefore, we always find it hard to think of what to have for lunch. Since there are few unfamiliar restaurants stood on the newly renovated area at the IT level, we randomly picked one for a try.

Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Express 鲜定味台湾快餐 is under the same management of Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Tea Room @ Sunway Pyramid and One Utama.

On beverages, we had Champagne Pearl Milk Tea 香槟珍珠奶茶 in blue and the Honey Dew Pearl Milk Tea 月世界珍珠奶茶 in green, priced at RM 3.90 each. It was a bad choice to opt for the champagne flavour as it had the awful powdery weird taste. Ewwwww….. Those selling in pasar malam taste 10 times nicer!!! Contunue Reading

Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant @ The Gardens

Before I keep continuing grabbing and recalling memories and write about my Langkawi trip (that’s really a tough task for me), I am ‘flying’ back to KL again. KL is really a food hub. You can actually find whatever you wish or to satisfy the sudden craving.

Well, I am sure Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant 蓬莱茶房台湾料理 isn’t new to you guys, right? However, this is still new for me. So, I had WenChing (this place is not new for her) brought me over for a lunch the other day.

We first thought it would not be crowded as it was one of the weekdays. Who knows?! We were required to ‘wait’ for a while as the waiters were tidying up the table for us.

We had the papaya milk juice 木瓜牛奶 (left) and watermelon milk juice 西瓜牛奶 (right) priced at Rm 6.80 each. It was quite refreshing but it will take up the capacity of your stomach as it is made very milky-ly.

My Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce 凉面 is priced at Rm 9.80. It was quite large in serving with shredded chicken breast, shredded cucumber and of course the loadful of sesame sauce on the cold noodles. It was delicious. The noodles were QQ but the sesame sauce was on the sweet side. Anyway, I love the cold noodles a lot. Contunue Reading

Xi-Men-Ting @ South City Plaza

It was another day out with Christine again. The mission this day was to ‘transform’ my long wavy hair to a trendy stylish one. And here again, Christine brought me over for a new hair cut. Thanks, Leng.

Before that, we were loitering while figuring out what to have for lunch as South City Plaza seems empty nowadays. A lot of shops and merchandisers have moved out from this complex and some shops left emptied.

Something came into Christine’s mind. She told me that she dined in this place years ago and the food was not bad. We had ourselves seated too although we were unsure if they could maintain the same standard as years ago.

Xi Men Ting is one of the well-known places in Taiwan with lots of hip young and adults hanging around. While this restaurant named as Xi-Men-Ting, I think the Chinese food served are more or less like those in Taiwan?!

Here was the iced jasmine tea at Rm 2.50 for me to quench my thirst. No sugar added and pure in jasmine flavour.

New Formosa @ PJ SS2

Right after our dinner, Christine and I came up with an idea on reviewing this restaurant. This time, I will try writing in Chinese while Christine will post it in English. (Yep, she has had her post published).

Contunue Reading
