Fake tai-tai is back in action here, taking you guys up to the chilliest place near Klang Valley area for an interesting afternoon tea.
Yep, situated right up here in the Sky Avenue of Genting Highlands, there is this cool new place popped up here not long ago. Being an afternoon tea lover, how would I miss out such an amazing place?!
Established in year 1982, this No. 1 coffee roaster in France has shown his face up in Genting Highlands. The café is dressed in a monochrome tone; plastered with classic black and white mosaic floor tiles, cloth awnings and raffia wicker chairs facing the walkway, Cafés Richard has meticulously recreated the quintessential Parisian café at Sky Avenue.
Also, there is this Frangipani flower-shape “hanging garden” that offers an inviting and bright ambience for every photo moments.
Cafés Richard takes pride of their Slow Coffee. Slow Coffee is a type of coffee that allows you to enjoy the coffee in a slower pace, brings to you the joy of a slow, relaxing passage of time with a cup of coffee. There are few different techniques of brewing different characteristic of coffee beans. Just ask the knowledgeable floor staffs and they will explain everything to you and provide you suggestion and recommendation for your cuppa. Chemex, Cold Drip, French Press and Syphon are available here, to go with the available beans at time.

Their savoury set was what I love most! Every bit of them were very well balance. Love the foie gras on the crunchy toasted baguette, also the special yet refreshing crab, avocado and lemon zest salad. Also, I must highlight that their macaron wowed me too. The macarons were not cloyingly sweet at all, just right to my palate. Crème brulee was another good stuff to try; it was eggy, creamy and smooth. Do come in a bigger gang and so you may order the Le Gestin set that offers full selection of goods to be shared among the gang.
