I always adore the desserts from Delectable by Su. The desserts are finely made, decorated in a delectable style. In other word, cuteness overloaded. Just look at those figurines and the cake décors they made, they are all so colourful, fine and cute. Often, I will take away the desserts and enjoy them at home. But not now because their latest outlet offers a better dine in place, surrounded with scenic greenery and it is pretty quiet and chill to have a great afternoon over there. Another plus point, they serve hot food in this new outlet!

Nestled in this beautiful glasshouse, Delectable by Su has their latest outlet inside here. I was on an afternoon tea date with the ladies. We were pretty excited and glad that we did not have to shout over the conversation like some others café we went. This place was very cosy; not as crowded as the others and we were able to sit comfortably one whole afternoon. The dishes here are priced pretty reasonable. We ordered two savouries and a dessert for sharing.

We find the Signature Lasagne with Bolognese, eggplant and spinach layers (Rm 18) was just ok. But their Chicken Pie (Rm 18) was very comforting. The pastry was light and flaky, generously filled with chicken chunks, potatoes, mushrooms, covered with pea mash, gravy and finally topped with a fried egg. So yummmm!

It’s the time for some sweets after the savouries. There were plenty of choices to choose from; be it from the menu or dessert counter. We had the Popcorn Brownie Avalanche (Rm 18). The warm fudge brownie sat in a pool of sticky salted caramel, topped with a scoop of chilling ice cream and buried under their freshly popped caramel corn. This was pretty huge and great for sharing among the 3 of us. Quiet pretty sinful eh as we found ourselves kept munching on the crunchy popcorns, nonstop-ly.

I too, takeaway the chocolaty, sinful but not-overly-or-cloyingly-sweet 7 Sins of Chocolate (Rm 13) as my sweet ending of the day.

They have these Delectable Edible Terraniums which comes in a few sizes and prices. Such adorable, uniquely made and serve great as birthday cake too! Will definitely revisit to try that out during the bff-s birthdays!
