Thick, succulent and fat cuts of yellowtails.

Oooohhhhh, my recent new love and I were here twice in less than a week time.

Started as the fish and seafood supermarket and now expanded into the lunch-only place. This is a quaint place that housed only a few tables; serving fresh raw fish and grilled dishes in a Japanese-homey-way. Masamichi Tomono is the man behind, slicing and grilling the glorious fresh seafood and his wife, Winnie is helping her over the restaurant, serving the customers.

Japanese Breakfast Set (Rm 15)
Comes with rice, miso soup, egg (raw pasteurised egg or onsen tamago), hijiki, kobachi, pickles and nori. If you are here on the weekdays, you may get their lunch set at the price of Rm 7 which consists of Miso soup, rice and green tea.

Sashimi-s (a la carte) here are priced between 18 and 46. On both of my visit, I hunted for Hamachi “yellowtail” (Rm 30) for which I love the fatness of the fish. Never go wrong ordering this if you love the fatter, oilier fish. They were heavenly good.

How I Wish I can have these everyday.

Even their grated wasabi was fresh!

Salt Grilled Saba – mackerel (Rm 8)
Words from me, fresh and sweet. With just slight natural seasoning, the fish turned out to be super sweet and flavourful.

Grilled Ocean Trout Belly (Rm 12)
One of my favourite fish as it is dosed with omega-3 fatty acid.

Hokkaido Scallop (Rm 30)
This was heavenly good too! The scallop was as huge as my hand (I have huge palm with long fingers); grilled in its shell and served to us swimming prettily in the sweet essence of its juice. The scallop was very sweet and super fresh. Can’t help myself pouring the essences over the rice and enjoy it.

Price is pretty reasonable for what we have paid for. We get really fresh seafood and cooked in a perfect way. I just can’t wait to try out more of their luscious fresh fish and seafood dishes as they have different things or special of the days. One may get surprises on each visit. Do check out the menu that are plastered on the wall or ask for recommendation.
