My friend once asked me, you don’t feel bored ah, with all the pork around?! My answer, NEVER.

Located on the quieter side of Bangsar at the Bangkung row, sharing the same row with Cava and Opus Bistro; Leornardo’s is a place that serves delicious porky dishes, from western to Asian. You can even see our local’s favourite bak kut teh, hokkien char and fried bee hoon in the menu. How interesting!

The restaurant is taking place at the first and second floor. The premise is dimly lit, filled with bare brick walls and on the walls are some interesting colourful paintings. Remember to make reservation beforehand especially on the weekends. The place was filled up quickly at dinner time during our visit.

Roasted Pork Belly (Rm 32)
Very well marinated and served with mustard sauce and chilli sauce. Love its texture but would be delighted if the skins were crispier!

Grilled Pork Neck (Rm 26)
With spicy mango and cilantro salsa

Spanish Iberico Black Pig Shoulder Loin Steak (Rm 75)
It was made medium done which appeared in pinkish blush; just right with a little melt in mouth texture; love the gravy that matched well with the loin steak too! Served with truffle oil mash potatoes and vegetables.

Fried Hokkien Noodles (Rm 27)
The “atas” version of Hokkien mee, beautified in dark sauce and tossed in lots of lard and pork slices and served with sambal belacan. It was kind of different to have Hokkien Mee in a western restaurant, especially using a fork for a bowl of hokkien char. It was a good one though priced on the higher side.

Chocolate Volcano (Rm 28)
Crusty molten lava with gooey chocolate fillings served with a scoop of Haagen Dasz vanilla ice cream. Still miss the Opus’s version with more chocolate fillings oozing out!!!

A sweet ending for the birthday girl. Happy birthday Weizhi! Have a blessed birthday and enjoy every moment to max!
