Alright, some backlog post today.
Well, no exactly a backlog post as I visited again not long ago.

Omggg… The queue. It was so long and Kampungboy happily posing while queuing up. It took us an hour of queuing to secure a table. Seems that the queue is so long every day, and especially on the weekends. On my last visit, the queue was even longer, but I was glad that my friend made reservation for the huge gang of us. So it took us whee minutes for seats. Reservation can only be made for rooms with minimum spending of 250 or over (if I am not mistaken). Tables are equipped with a charcoal. Ventilation here is considered okay with the smoke suction vent from the ceiling for grilling on the stove. So, we actually left the restaurant with minimal BBQ scent.

The ribs were cut into small pieces and to be wrapped and eaten with the lettuce leaves, garlic slices and sauces provided. We fancy the traditional marinate the most.

Kimchi Soup (Rm 16)
An appetizing sourish soup that was so perfect for the rainy night. filled with mushrooms, cabbage, onions, and glass noodles. Yummm…

Hae-Mul-Pa-Jeon (Rm25)
Korean style seafood spring onion pancake

Jab-Chae (Rm 25)
Pan fried Korean glass noodles with vegetable and meat

Tuk-Pok-Ki (Rm 25)
Spicy and savoury pan-broiled Korean rice cake served along with the stir-fry mix of vegetables, egg and meat. It was a nice stir but would be delighted if there were more rice cake in it.

Finally, you will be served with chilled ginger tea, fruits and candy at the end of the meal.

So, is that good???
The Korean dishes are pretty good and priced reasonably. Taste wise, it’s far better than some others Korean restaurant in KL. But then I have to say, this is the Korean restaurant that you came in, eat, and go (especially on the weekends). Just forget about staying in a little bit longer as there are queuing customers waiting for the seats during the dinner time (not quite sure about the lunch time though). Sometimes you might not able to get refills for your banchan as the waiters are super busy serving each table. By the time you pass the plates for them, they already forgot about it next. We asked for a few refills but we only get a plate of kimchi in return. Kimchi is good.

My another option for Korean cuisine would be Hong Park Sa in Ampang, serving homey authentic Korean dishes which they actually give you a big pot of kimchi and minus the queue.
