While I was attending my cousin’s wedding in Hai Yai Thailand, I had this opportunity (after my last visit N years ago) to travel around Hai Yai for food and a little bit of shopping. We were brought over to Sane Mai Thai Restaurant for dinner just the night before the wedding. I do hope I provide the correct information as I did not take down any of them, not the restaurant’s information and not even the dishes we ordered.
Sane Mai or literally translated into “Wooden Charm” is an open dining area with musical live band entertaining you. Their performance was very amusing and they sing Chinese songs too! One could easily spot a few cabinets of collectibles over here, all were filled with vintage decorative items and also games we used to play in those old days. As I didn’t take down the names the dishes, I shall let the photos do the talking. All the food served was really good and flavourful. Miss the tom yum, fried pork, fried cat fish and the interesting Thai spicy raw prawns with fish sauces very much. Well, for those with sensitive stomachs?! Better avoid the raw prawns!!!
