When the BFF was back to town, I quickly grabbed her out to indulge a tai-tai style afternoon tea with me.

Lounge on the Park has got a dimly lit, very classic environment; such an ideal atmosphere for an afternoon tea. We seated into a comfy heavy chair and sipping away the cups of tea. Ahhh… how lovely it was, especially when it comes with BFF meet up! It was a Saturday, I thought there was the tiers-type-afternoon-tea set available… but for every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of February, The Chocolate Bar is there!

They serve specialty teas from Ronnefeldt; I had the Lychee Green Tea while the BFF Wen Ching had the relaxing Chamomile Tea.

Ooops, she forgot the strainer.

There is a small selection of Chinese dim sum available but we took non of them since we were not into dim sum on that afternoon. Sweet desserts were something that we went for all afternoon. Let’s feast your eyes and your minds with some of the desserts available before heading over, shall we?!

Japanese inspired sticky rice – chocolate maki and nigiri. Too fusion to us, we don’t actually fancy this.

Finger sandwiches – smoked salmon, cucumber and mint cream cheese…

Though their scones weren’t the very best in town, but we were satisfied with them. Scones were served warm, paired with the clotted cream, lemon curd and jam; perfect!!! Each of us had 2 helpings of them.
